Whistler is the resort that has everything to offer to any winter sports enthusiast, constantly voted North America’s No 1 ski resort offering world class skiing over two mountains.

Having hosted the 2010 Winter Olympics guests can now take advantage of the improvements to host these games making this an incredible resort. Whistler offers diverse terrain suitable for all levels of skiers, including one of the biggest vertical drops and longest trail’s in North America there is terrain to suit everybody.

The two mountains of Whistler are connected by the recent addition of the Peak to Peak gondola being the highest and most continuous lift in the world, this provides skiers to gain access to both Whistler Mountain and Blackcomb Mountain enabling skiers to cover an enormous amount of terrain without returning to the base of the resort.

In addition to this new lift the entire lift system of Whistler is a state-of-the-art lift system assisting to whisk skiers around the vast 8000 acres of the resort. The mountains of Whistler offer groomed trails, secluded glades, glaciers and plenty of bowl skiing.

The world renowned ski school of Whistler is available at the resort bases, offering group lessons, private tuition and ski and board camps, offering more experienced skiers and boarders to advance in groups of similar standards.

The resort is divided into three main villages, Blackcomb Village and Whistler Village are connected by a pedestrian walkway both offer a selection of shops, restaurants and bars, Whistler Village is the more lively and offers an array of choices for après ski. Creekside Village is located a few miles from Whistler, offering additional choice of restaurants and accessible via the town shuttle.

For non-skiers Whistler offers an array of activities taking in the beautiful natural scenery of the resort these can include, Snowshoe tours, Snowmobile tours, Zipline, Cross-Country skiing and Sleigh-rides.

The village also offers a cinema, a Scandinave Spa, Cultural Centre, art galleries and a host of shops and individual boutiques. The villages offer a fine selection of restaurants from award winning fine dining establishments to family friendly establishments offering hearty menus, the resort caters for all.
